About Us
Coniston Bakery has been an icon in Gladstone Avenue for more than 20 years. In 2012, it was given a fresh new look and is now owned and run by the Caldwell family: Jason is the head pastry chef and he also manages the busy front of house team.
Customers often comment on the bustle of activity they see taking place in the bakery behind the shop. It's where the magic happens as Jason, Colin, Luke and Kyle prepare and produce our gorgeous range of pies, sausage rolls, cakes, slices, muffins, treats, savouries and specialty cakes.
In 2015, Coniston Bakery opened a second store at Farmborough Road, Unanderra. Both shops are open for business and greeting our first customers by 6am, pouring coffees, serving piping hot pastries and freshly- made wraps and rolls. Despite our sometimes hectic schedule, there's nothing we enjoy more than taking the time to provide good old-fashioned service, and we're proud to say we know many of our customers by name.
